From Dr Martens' website: This is our classic 3 eye shoe. The second style that Dr. Martens made, the men's 1461 was crafted for industry — and made rebellious by generations of non-conformists. This season, it's covered in a print of "The House of Death" by William Blake. Ever the creative, freethinking individual, Blake perfectly embodies the spirit of Dr. Martens — and that's why we collaborated with Tate Britain to feature two of his most famous, provocative paintings.
The Goodyear welted sole is heat-sealed and welt-stitched for extra durability.
The air-cushioned DMC sole is oil and fat-resistant, tough and offers good abrasion and slip resistance.
Features Dr Martens' classic yellow stitching and black shoe laces. If you're looking to personalize your shoes, check out our selection of colored shoe laces.
Care Instructions Clean away any dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry. Apply a clear, wax-based shoe polish with a soft cloth to restore shine. Take care when polishing as too much friction may damage the design.
Fit Notes: Dr Martens are available in whole sizes only - no half sizes are available. The Dr Martens 1461 shoe runs true to size and we generally suggest that you order a size up if you do wear a half size in your footwear. Often, using a sole insert can alleviate the extra space if you are ordering a slightly larger size. Want additional advice on finding the best size for you, call 1-800-9VIXENS.
