A Flock of Seagulls

last summer we got to hang with A Flock Of Seagulls front man and founder Mike Score after his show at Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre. It was crazy he remembered his visit to FashioNation back in 2001 "O`ya the Dr. Martens shop". We set Mike and the band up with boots on that visit

Martin Atkins - Pil, NiN, Revco, Ministry, Pigface

Martin Atkins came by the shop, Riveting Music was doing an interview with him. Martin was in town for a DJ gig at REQUIEM.  He's has been a part of so many of our favorite bands over the years Pil, NiN, Revco, Ministry, Pigface...  he signed up all our records and had rad stories about the big Revco show at the gothic!

Pigface - August 2019

a space was needed for an interview with Martin Atkins. He was in town for a Dj gig at Tracks Denver, how could we say no! After hanging out with him we found him to be really one of the good guys!  He's been in so many of our favorite bands! Martin signed up all our vinyl he was a part of :)  - can't wait till he returns to Denver!

My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult - Rock Star Boot

Thrill Kill's Buzz McCoy & Groovie Mann have been in the shop a bunch of times over the years. This time they were in town we got them to sign up an old Dr. Martens 10 eye for the collection!  They played the Marquis to a sold out crowd - this boot is totally "Kooler than Jesus" now ;)

Nitzer Ebb - May 2019

Another magical day at the shop, i remember buying 'Murderous' at Wax Trax Records back in '86 and thinking how cool this band is. 33 years later and we're still rock'n them and to have Nitzer-Ebb.com back in the shop! super cool!!!

Fun To Be Had

A big gap between visits, but that's Ok, we got to have to have all the guys back in FashioNation before their Sold Out show at The Oriental.  Douglas was at the old shop on 13th back on 2009, remarkably he remembered a lot about the old shop including our friend Rachael's giant dog 'Sebastian' who was hanging out that day

Reverend Horton Heat - Jimbo Wallace

it's a Psychobilly Freakout!!  Reverend Horton Heat's Standing Bass Player Jimbo Wallace was rad, He's been in the shop before but this time they were running late, they couldn't get to the shop due to a big storm in the mountains, so we met up with him at the Gothic.  It was good to see him again, this time he's Rock'n our Doc's!

The Reverend Horton Heat / Big Sandy - Rock Star Boot

We Had a blast with Jimbo Wallace, we set him up with a classic pair of 8 eye Dr. Martens and he set us up with tickets for the crew and signatures of his band on our boot for the collection, the Rev, "RJ" Matt & Diego along with "Big Sandy" all did it up!  They played a sold out show at the Gothic Theatre just down the street from our shop!.  High light of the night was a cover of Motörhead's 'Ace of Spades'

Echo & the Bunnymen - Rock Star Boot

a great night with Echo and the Bunnymen.  we traded Dr. Martens for tickets for the crew, got to spend time with Ian McCulloch after the show - we've had this boot signed by different member over the years, different times in the shop, but to get to hang with Ian and have him finish this off was special!

Same Old Madness!

does it get any better than this?  Al Jourgensen & first lady of Ministry, liz rock'n OUR Dr Martens, 14 eye black and 14 eye Vondas - on a freak'n CAMEL!!
