Nouvelle Vague - Rock Star Boot
Such a fun band and they do such cool covers of bad ass 80's song in a French bossa nova style. If you haven't heard of them, look them up!

Still one of the more memorable autographs from the walls of the old shop, Helena Noguerra loaded up her lips with red lipstick and kissed us goodbye - what a way to go !
So much 'Fun To Be Had'! Nitzer Ebb in the house!! Bon Harris, Douglas McCarthy & Jason Payne all came to the shop before their big show at the Bluebird.  Another crazy day with our Industrial Music Heros!
Bon, Douglas  & Jason all signed up this rare Skull & Crossbone exposed steel toe from Underground, (I wish we could still get these)
Karl Learmont & Amelia Arsenic from Angelspit came in while on tour with KMFDM.  Karl was wearing a pair of New Rock Boots he had purchased from us off our web site a few years back when he was living in Australia - it was fun to have him in the shop and this go full circle!
We had them in the shop to do a record signing along with KMFDM, the store was packed!
The bands 25th anniversary party/signing was setup by Sic Asylum and VampireFreaks.  We had a packed store of Industrial strength fans.  It made for an unforgettable time!  In the house this day, Sascha Konietzko  Lucia Cifarelli  Jules Hodgson  Andy Selway  Steve White
KMFDM back at the shop! this time for a Cd signing. They were out on the 'Kein Mitleid' (no mercy) tour.  The band was celebrating 25 years of Ripping the System!  Our Lip Service rep at the time, Mickey Finn (from JetBoy) flew in for all the fun!
KMFDM = killer motherfucking dance music? - maybe, kill motherfucking Depeche Mode?? - could be... or.. "no pity for the majority" - i think so.  anyway we have a bad ass signed boot for our collection!
This day was just plain insane.  The New version of the Revolting Cocks - REVCO and came to the shop before their show at the Gothic.  Familiar faces, Sin Quirin, Murv Douglas and Aaron Rossi from Ministry along with Jim Rose, his "circus" was the opening act for this tour.  We had a blast with them in the store and took them out on the town after the concert.  I will say Jim Rose (for good or bad) was one of the most interesting people I've ever met..(with store kids Lesa, Creeper, Liz & Shea r.i.p. )
