Just one Fix!
We "Fixed" the boys up with gear form our favorite vendors, Lip Service (R.I.P. Drew) Dr. Martens and TUK shoes. Al said he wanted to make them a "commercial", so he got the boys together for these shots!

Al Jourgensen brought the whole crew in this time and it was awesome! Sin, John Bechel, Aaron Rossi, Burton Bell. They were playing that night at The Fillmore with MegaDeth.
We were psyched to meet Burton Bell. He fronts Fear Factory and he was one of Ministry Boys on this tour. We were showing him Dr. Martens and to our surprise he knew EVERYTHING about the brand. Back in the day he worked for NaNa shoes in Los Angeles. They were the coolest of the Rock & Roll footwear suppliers. Burton chose 14 eye steel toes, like i said he knew everything about the brand, wise choice
One of my favorite photos from over the years at the shop. Al & my daughter Mia. We have a cotton candy machine in our kids shop Babysitter's Nightmare. Mia loves to make and hand it out - Cotton Candy for Al!!
The super cool Dave Wakeling came to the shop before his show at the Gothic Theatre. The Beat comes to Denver a lot, and.. we go see them a lot! We love this band!
Too Nice To Talk To? O'hell no, he was a blast! and he did have a lot to say, Dave was kind enough to sign all our records and while doing so he had a storey about each and every one. Like on 'Special Beat Service' He brought up ' just where is Andy Cox's other leg? he said when they took the photo it just disappeared. Dave also told us about a green marker line in the upper left corner (on the wing), you might think you got something on your cover, but the green line actually came from the art director drawing the original negative ..
We set Dave Wakeling with a pair of Dr. Marten creepers ( a cool style they remade for a short time) We traded them for tickets for the our crew to the show! Always a great time when they are here!
"Dress your Feet ` to the Beat"! ya.. that works! thanks Dave!
The first time we got to meet the Kats! Rock'n Psychobilly Boys with their heads on straight! Really good guys. They're friends with Creeper Steve who worked for us at the time, he brought'm in - Vic Victor, Tommy "T-Bags" Koffin, Eric “E Ball” Walls. they were playing that night at the Gothic Theatre. We got Dr. Martens to hook them up with some sweet boots! ( with store kids Doug & Liz and me)
We hooked up Vic Victor with a very sweet and very rare pair of 10 eye steel toes from Dr. Martens. This particular pair of boots had a laser etched 'winged skull' across the back of the boots - Dr. Martens only made a few of these and you know - WE HAD THEM!! (cuz we rock like that) Hey Vic, they work better when they're on the floor!
