Pretty Rad to have Edward Ka-Spel, Phil Knight, Erik Drost, Niels van Hoorn and the rest of The Legendary Pink Dots in the shop back in 2002. Â
the core of the Dots, Edward and Phil formed up way back in 1980. Â We were proud to have them in our shop!
Every band has that one dude who's just a bunch of fun, the Dots have Niels van Hoorn!  (with store kid Lisa)  We decked him out with a Lip Service tiger velvet jacket, Lip Service black velvet pants and Underground silver Beatle boots, that mans got style!
it was cool to get them in the shop and cool to get them on the wall!
The guys from The Mission came in, ( I just can't call them The Mission UK, my vinyl doesn't have the UK on it )  We got Dr. Martens to set them up with kick ass 14 eyes.  They were great to hang out with and during the show that night at the Bluebird.  Wayne gave us a shout out from stage!  sweet!  Isn't it cool when your heroes do cool shit!
For our collection, Wayne and the boys all signed up this Underground Exposed steel toe (we sold tons of these back in the day)Â
Wayne left us some ink!
Rob Holiday went on to play with Gary Numan, Prodigy and Marilyn Manson.  Scott Garrett was in God Lives Underwater and played with the Cult
Gordon Gano, Brian Ritchie and original drummer Victor DeLorenzo stopped in before their show at the Ogden theatre.  this was kind of a strange visit, they came in separately, Brian & Victor, then later Gordon.  After speaking with Gordon, he said at the time they were not getting along at all - they traveled to the show separately - stayed in separate hotels, yet on stage that night it looked and felt like nothing was ever wrong.. crazy.
Add it UP! Gordon Gano &Â Victor De Lorenzo on the wall! Â
