Destroy Us, Or Make Us Saints - Al Jourgensen

Al Jourgensen wanted Big boot and he got Big boots!  They don't go any taller than 30 eyes.  We set him up with Underground Boots from the UK.  All the guys were Rocking our footwear that night, Gripfast, TUK,  Doc's - I always say "rockstars have to get their gear somewhere"  and we're definitely one of those places!  Where did you get YOUR boots...?

Rowdy Al!

Al's blasted my ears & lit my dance floors on fire in every club i've been a part of. Huge fan, i've loved him since i saw him at the Rainbow in '83 - he's crazy over the top nuts, friendly and fun - everything you dream about in a Rock Star

Ministry - With Sympathy

As with so many Ministry fans, I got started with the band back in 83 with this - With Sympathy (aka Work for Love) this particular record is the UK import version (different title, same songs, different order). I asked Al about it.. he said "he sold out before he sold anything..." he wasn't very proud of it.  it was cool he signed it up for me, it's a treasure in my collection

Skinny Puppy - June 2004

Surprise visit! - Skinny Puppy at the shop!  Ogre's been in a few times before, but  this was our first time meeting the incredible cEvin Key!  He's been involved in so many bad ass industrial bands, Download, Cyberaktif, Tear Garden.  We set the band up with Dr. Martens this time, cEvin getting a sweet pair of 14 eyes.

Skinny Puppy - Signature Wall

"A view so cruel" .. I don't think so, just some sweet autographs from one of our favorite bands ever to come through our doors!  Ogre & cEvin, "is it safe?"  well... cEvin almost fell off the ladder! ;)

The Cramps - June 2003

The Cramps Lux Interior - that's right "Lux Interior" with Chopper Franklin dropped by FashioNation before their show at the Ogden.  We were proud to have such a huge Rock & Roll legend in our shop and we were proud to set him up with Winkle Pickers (aka cockroach killers) from TUK shoes. I asked him to sign our rock star wall above the door thinking if we ever did move/close we could keep his autograph.  Lux was like "no way, I'm not getting up on that ladder".  He ended up signing our wall in red but this turned out to be a drag, the red marker bleached out in the sun over the years.  In hindsight we did move and we were able to keep that part for the wall above the door, it would have been rad if we could of kept his signature... RIP Lux (1946 - 2009)

Covenant - May 2003

Covenant stopped in unexpectedly at FashioNation, Eskil Simonsson & Joakim Montelius.  They don't hit the US often so this was very special for us.  They were some Cool, Classy Characters..  We set them up with some Doc boots and Muro wingtips ( with store kids Lisa & Doug)

Covenant - Signature Wall

vi skor oss pa andra  = we like our shoes! - we were able to save this part of the old shop.  The signature panel over the front door.

The Legendary Pink Dots - November 2002

Pretty Rad to have Edward Ka-Spel, Phil Knight, Erik Drost, Niels van Hoorn and the rest of The Legendary Pink Dots in the shop back in 2002.

Curious Guys - Ka-Spel & Knight

the core of the Dots, Edward and Phil formed up way back in 1980.  We were proud to have them in our shop!
