Far Gone and Out !
The boys in the band came in before their Sold Out show at the Ogden. It was rad to have the band show up to FashioNation! Jim Reid, Brian Young, Mark Crozer, Phil King ( with store kids Lisa, Jamie, friends Cindy, Liam & Glen)

Sold out show at the Ogden Theatre, JAMC came in for a visit and gave us a little love on our autograph wall! All the gang signed up our door. Jim Reid's 'Jesus Loves You' is one of my all time favorite autographs!
if you're going to have songs like ' the Hardest Walk & You Trip Me Up' - you need good boots! and they got a bunch from us. We got the boys to sign this old pair of Steel 10 eye steel toes, a customer who worked at Argonaut Liquors would buy them every 18 months or so. He always left us with the beat up pair - we put it to good use
great great guys! I wish they were my next door neighbors, you could drink beer with them in the alley, borrow their rake and not return it, play the stereo to loud and they wouldn't get pissed.. those type of guys.. and did i mention they Rock too! (with store kids jamie & Tina)
I sent them a note on Fb and invited them in for some TUK creepers, to my surprise Brian Baker ( guitarist) said they always hit 13th ave when they are in Denver, he said they have come to the shop a bunch of times and they would make their way over to our new location. We hooked Brett Gurewitz up with a classic white lace TUK creepers and he totally rocked them on stage at the sold out Ogden theatre that night.
THIS JOINT JUMPS! yep!
this was just a cool day, it felt like we've been on the same team for a long time...we got them they got us, Brett Gurewitz Brian Baker Mike Dimkich all signed up this 15 eye boot from Steel. Thanks guys, it was a pleasure to have you in.
We were not luck enough to get Marilyn Manson in the shop, but the band did set us up with the rock star treatment. We got to know Gil Sharone, (Drummer for Manson) he was in our shop a few back when he played with Stolen Babies. The band needed some gear so we traded some of our bondage belts and a super cool bullet belt for tickets and passes. fair trade and a kick ass day!
The first Rock Stars to hit up the new FashioNation store was Wesley Eisold and Amy Lee of Cold Cave. He we doing a Dj set ot LipGloss with friend of the shop Michael Trundle.
It's a beautiful world we live in, because of Mark!! - talk about idol worship! We tried & tried to get the boys from DEVO in the shop but no luck. We went back and forth with their management and It went as far as Special ordering the band 4 pair of Dr. Marten shoe for their 'Hardcore' tour but it just didn't happen.
